Mary Cockerill b. 1862, October 16, 1884, Fayette County, OH. George was the son of George Palmer Barnes Sr. and Mary ? George and his father both served in civil War in Ohio Infantry.... Pension papers show that George Sr. died in Pa. George Jr. in Ohio.... George had several brothers and sisters, known are Flora, married Eli Flowers.... and James (Jim).. George JR and Mary Cockerill had following children: Richard Palmer, Oga, William Mckinley and Georgia all born in Fayette County, Oh. George Jr died in 1901. 1910 Census show Mary and son William living with her oldest son Richard and his wife in Dayton, Montgomery County, Oh... Am seeking information on George Jr's parents and hoping to connect to descendants of sibblings..... Will be glad to share information I do have.... Pat
