I have been a researcher in Fayette Co. and Greene Co OH for several years seeking information on Horney, Janes, Anderson, Robinson, Mock, plus many other lines. After all of this research I am still looking for the marriage record of my CHIPMAN HORNEY and ELEANOR JANES married about 1822. In the booklet published by the William Horney Chapter of DAR, it says that Chipman Horney and Eleanor Janes were married. This is the best I have found. Can anyone help? Looking for my MILEY's from Highland and now I have learned Fayette Counties. My grandfather Orville MILEY was the son of Amma MILEY and it looks like Allie STULTZ. The Allie I cannot be 100% on for this death certificate is handwritten. It says he was born in Washington Court House (Fayette Co) and she was born in Sinking Spring??? Cannot make all that out either. I know that they lived in Highland County most of their lives but also I found Orville in the 1920 census with his wife Ora Rebecca SMALLEY and son Charles in Clinton County. She died in 1989. Orville died in 1943. My dad Harley Homer MILEY was born in 1931 and died in 1986. All of these deaths were in Highland Co. ANY help on this name and also STULTZ will be great..
