His informaiton is listed there. When I go to work on Tuesday, I will post the info here. The name was changed over the years and the current spelling in Fayette County is now Devoe. Your ancestors may be related to him. If I am not mistaken, we also have his estate file there. My GGGF was George William SLUSHER (b 1838 VA/WVA). My GGGM was Susan Catherine (nee JUDY) SLUSHER (b 1841 VA/WVA) They were married in Pendleton Co., VA (now WVA) in 1858 and moved to Ohio (Clnton Co.) in the 1860's. They moved to Fayette Co., OH, sometime befor 1894. They were divorced in 1894 in Fayette County, OH, I have the court records regarding the divorce). I believe that they both remained as residents of Fayette County folllowing their divorce in 1894 and that George William SLUSHER may have remarried (in Fayette Co.?) sometime after 1894 to an Abbia(?) ______. I would surely appreciate 1900 Fayette County Census information for the following two households. That of: George William SLUSHER (age abt 62 in 1900) (wife? Abbia? Abby? Abbie? Abigail?) AND seperate household of: Susan Catherine SLUSHER (age abt 59 in 1900) Also ask if anyone with access to Fayette Co., Marriage records woold check for a marriage of George William SLUSHER and an Abbia(?) ______ sometime btwn 1894 and 1908. Father's name was Elia. Mother's name unknown. Elia is buried in Hutchinson, Kansas. Lewis was a Pony Express rider and information I have is that the family came from Wales. Lewis and a brother John Wesley went to Kansas about 1870. They also had a sister Alberta. Can anyone help?
Is the public library there in Washington CH the only genealogy library in Fayette County? If there is a second location, what days and hours are they open and do I have to call ahead to make sure someone is there? If so, what is the phone number? These 3 brothers were sons of John Tracey of Baltimore County, Maryland. They moved west in 1805 to Jefferson Co., Oh. Each served in the War of 1812 from Fayette Co., OH. William died in 1819. Warnel was in the Fayette County 1840 Census. Solomon was in the 1850 Census (age 75) in Fayette County, Perry Twp. I need information about there children.

Hi... new to the list. Is anyone in this county familiar with the name TIDY? I've tracked a TIDY family from Bedford and Somerset Counties in PA to this county in OH.
