Oh Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Fayette/10245 Surname: ------------------------- Thank you Peggy Gilmore for identifying these cemeteries for me! I have created a webpage for each of them, with links to the photos. There are well over 200 photos there that I took. Hope this helps someone out. I myself have no family there. I enjoy visiting cemeteries, even as a child. Now with a digital camera I can take photos and post them to the web, easily and free. Only cost is my time. Please go to my home page link listed below. Then scroll down my list of cemeteries I have photos of. You will see in the list "Fayette County" and the names of the cemeteries with links to their page's. Posted on: Fayette Co. Oh Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Fayette/10243 Surname: ------------------------- Hello! I was camping at Deer Creek over the memorial weekend. Being a crazed genealogist I am always on the look out for cemeteries to photograph. I have a digital camera and can take hundreds of photos, and I have unlimitied space at rootsweb to post them. My problem is this: I took photos of all stones at two Old cemeteries with No sign as to their name. One is located on Cook-Yankeetown Rd. just off highway 207 on the way towards Deer Creek state park. It is up on a hill. The second one was located on 207 just before getting to Cook-Yankeetown Rd. I live in Columbus and was coming south. If you could name the cemeteries for me, I will gladly create pages for them and then send you links to the sites.

Posted on: Fayette Co. Oh Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Fayette/10233 Surname: Anderson, Brown, Minshall, Smith ------------------------- Daisy Anderson (probably short of Margaret or Marguerite Anderson) was born on Jan. 7, 1877, in Salt Creek Twp, Wayne Co., OH. She married George Washington Brown, 6/1867-1/1916, who doesn't seem to have a death certificate in Ohio. They had a lot of children. She then married Charles Minshall, who had been married to Ida May Smith before that. Daisy & George had many children; Charles and Ida had a daughter, Rosevelyn; I don't think Daisy and Charles had any children together. (George Brown = Daisy Anderson = Charles Minshall = Ida Smith) I know George Brown & Daisy A. lived in Pike County earlier on, and Daisy died in Fayette County, which is where the Minshalls are, too. How can I track down George Brown? --Antone
Does anyone have any documents for marriages from 1826-30? I have been looking for years for the wife of a William H. William's family lived in Fayette and William's first children are listed as being born in OH....so I am hoping that they were married in Fayette or nearby at least. Any clues would be wonderful, Thank you, Christine
