My Eli seems to have appeared and disappeared within ten years. I have the Franklin County marriage license of Eli and Julia 1853. They were listed as living in Canal Winchester. The Canal History gave brief mention that Eli was in the guard. Eli and Julia had children until 1856 and she is listed alone with the children in the 1860 census, still living in Canal.
