Hello, I am hoping that someone can help. I have learned that I have a great great grandfather who moved to Ohio from Maryland around 1810. He had a son who had a son. CONFUSED, I AM. Ok, Great Great Great Grandfather's name was James Reat. He moved to Maryland from Scotland and had several children: He came to the states around 1775-1785. His wife is unknown. children are: John Reat b est. 1769-1813 Robert Reat b. 1769-1813 James Jr Reat b. 1779-1808 Susan Reat b 1769-1813 Milta Reat 1769-1813 Margaret Reat est. 1769-1813 Hugh Reat b. 1792 in Frederick County Maryland. >From the information I can tell they were born either in Maryland or Ohio. James Reat Sr. passed away around 1810. I would like to get some information on where he is buried or if possible some type of record of his death. The second request I have is that i am trying to locate the birth record of Robert Clark Reat son of Jame Reat JR. I think he may have been born in Clearwater Creek Fairfield County. I thought I had seen a record showing page 279. If I am correct how to I get a copy of his birth record or some form of information regarding his birth. Robert Clark Reat was born November 2, 1828 according to the family bible. Any help is appreciated.
