    3. Rereading the "A History of the Welsheimer Family" by Edith L. WELSCHEIMER, I Found she listed a second WESHEIMER Cemetery: "Daniel [WELSHEIMER], his wife Margaret, and several children were buried in a little private cemetery on the farm [his farm in Amanda Twp.] It seems that the farm was sold with the understanding that the cemetery, fenced at the time of sale, was to be kept up and not disturbed. Since Daniel's family had moved away, the agreement was broken, and the knoll on which the cemetery was located became the site for a new house. It was said that the tombstones were used for steps and stepping stones. ... A number of years before the cemetery was violated, David P. DEAN [grandson of Philip WELSHEIMER] on a visit to Ohio, had gone to all the private cemeteries belonging to the family and had copied the inscriptions on the monuments. Those for Daniel's family are listed below: Daniel WELSHIMER d. 16 Oct 1870 aged 77yrs Margaret WELSHIMER d 27 Jun 1849, aged 42yrs Harriet WELSHIMER d 17 Oct 1817 aged 11mo Elizabeth WELSHIMER d 16 Sep 1822, aged -- Daniel WELSHIMER d.17 Jun 1849, aged -- John WELSHIMER d 8 Aug 1854, aged 5yr." In the Preface of her book, Edith stated that although the book was published in 1969, most of the research was done from 1930 to 1933. Rebecca C. Huddle
