Thanks any way. It's kind of mysterious. They both 1st appear at their marriage record found and then Isaac is on the 1840 Census. He disappears after that, so I assume he died. She had remarried by 1850 and by 1860, at least some of the kids are living with her mother. John, my ancestor, stayed in Violet Twp. and died after 1900. His son, William moved his family to Akron about 1911 where he was killed in 1923. I've no idea where Isaac came from, or who his parents were.
