I've been looking for a Samuel Coon of Fairfield County, OH for years. My Samuel was a brother of my GGGGrandfather George Coon, also of Fairfield Co., OH from about 1808 until about 1840. I have land records of Samuel and his wife making land purchase and sales up until about 1840, and then they just disappeared. Do you happen to know if Samuel's wife's name was Elizabeth North? This item would not have been conclusive since life at that time was pretty hard on wives and Elizabeth may have died and Samuel married again. I have more information.
