Several of this Unger family (Peter and Amanda's) ended up in Van Wert and Paulding Counties. I didn't realize Nathan and Eliza did also. I had assumed Lawrence was their child since he is listed as their son in the 1880 census. I know she said she had no children in 1900. Perhaps he had died and there was some miscommunication with the census taker or something. I would be interested in finding out if Bertha was adopted from a family member or not.
