My ancestor John Gilmore, born at Rockingham County, VA, lived in the near vicinity of Baltimore.? His daughters Catherine and later Delilah both married my ancestor James Kirkendall who lived at Kirkersville over the line in Licking County. John's wife Ann (Brumfield) Gilmore migrated west with her daughter Missouri (Gilmore) Edwards, to Carroll County, Illinois.? His daughter and my ancestor Delilah (Gilmore) Kirkendall raised her family at Kirkersville but then migrated west to Nebraska (1880) and died at Denver in 1892. I visited the large cemetery at Baltimore a few years ago but found no sign of John Gilmore buried there.? Does anyone have any idea of exactly where he lived -- perhaps there was a church cemetery nearby. Thanks! Don Boyd Centerville, Ohio
