    3. I'm butting in here. When I was librarian up in Putnam co Ohio, where many Ridenours went (Allen/Putnam ewtc), one of our researchers did 2 notebooks of Ridenour family. I photocopied them and placed copies at Fairfield co Public Library. That was before the society had their own library. I'm not sure where else they are except Putnam co and Fairfield co. 2. Hi Marjie, I visited Ohio in 1993 (I think), and one of the places I went to in Fairfield Co. for research was the Fairfield Co. Public Library (the genealogy section). 3. Found this at both Fairfield Library and Putnam Library browsing files on web. This is the full name of the Book/Notes. "The Ridenour family from Rosenthal, Alsace, France to Berks Co., PA,Hagerstown, MD, Fairfield Co., OH , Putnam Co., OH and Allen Co. OH. " I am not sure but I believe this is based on the John Ridenour (& wf Christena Walters) is said to be John Nicholas Ridenour, and the Harwell's research states that this family is not a grandson of Nicholas (1839 Immigrant). So this will be an interesting book to read. Again thanks to all, Marjie ----- Original Message ----- From: <lhanks@linkline.com> To: <ohfairfi@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2008 1:47 PM Subject: Re: [OHFAIRFI] Church Records - RIDENOUR genealogy > Hi Marjie, > > I visited Ohio in 1993 (I think), and one of the places I went to in > Fairfield Co. for research was the Fairfield Co.
