    3. Lillian, Are those Lutheran church records? If so, are there any Strunks or Matlack or Beerys in them? I don't know much about these families, but this is what I do know. Margaret Hollenback b abt 1771 m John Jones d bef 1830. There were in Fairfield by 1820. I believe all their children would have been b VA prior to their migration. I know that she had at least 1 daughter, as she's listed in Margaret's obit when she d in 1870. The obit lists her burial as being in the Lutheran cemetery. Her name is Ann b abt 1806 VA. I think Ann m1)Samuel Matlack in 1823. I have no children for them. She m 2)Samuel Beery in 1840 Fairfield. I have 3 children, Charles b abt 1844; Sarah b abt 1846 and Lawrence b abt 1850. There are 2 other "suspects" in the area as children of Margaret & John Jones. 1]Sarah b abt 1800 VA m Samuel Strunk b abt 1803 PA. They married Dec 1824 Fairfield. They remained in the Fairfield area through the 1860 census, and may have died there. The census indicates no children born to them, unless they died young and between the census years. 2]Thomas Jones about whom I know nothing except he was in the same area at the same time. If the church records have any christenings or marriages or deaths for any of these people, I'd sure appreciate the data. In particular, I am looking for the baptismal record of a William Ridenour, son of Henry and Margaret Branthaver Ridenour, born in 1817. Many thanks, Thomas Ridenour ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to OHFAIRFI-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to OHFAIRFI-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
