    3. From: Nedra Dickman Brill ndbrill@comcast.net Since we are discussin the Beery Family-- In 1850 and 1860 Fairfield County John and Elizabeth Berry had in their residence a Catharine Deeds. A patron submitted their marriage to the IGI on 11 February 1830 as John Berry and Elizabeth Hadden. However, the original record in the Fairfield County Marriages on this date is for John Bery or Beery (one spelling in margin, another in the record) and Elizabeth Madden, not Hadden. I am interested in identifying Catharine Deeds and the wife Elizabeth. Hi, Nedra: "Beery Family History" p. 73 shows John A. Beery b. July 19, 1795 m. Magdalena Huber; 2 c; m. (2) Elizabeth Madden, 11 c. There is a Deeds name listed in the index to this book, but I didn't happen to copy that page..  You might try to get the book on inter-library loan, or ask someone to send you a copy of p. 534, "Beery Family History", by William Beery & Judith Beery Garber, printed by Brethren Pub. House, Elgin, Ill, 1957 Good luck Karen
