I know now that the Franklin Edwin Boyer (husband of Pearl Bailey) was a grandson of the above George and Margaret Bohrer and the son of George James Bohrer/Boyer and Sarah Jane Beery. I have been searching for several years now for what happened to Mary Ann Bohrer (the daughter of George and Margaret Bohrer above, and the sister of George James Bohrer above and the aunt of Franklin Bohrer/Boyer) Mary Ann is listed in the administration papers of her father's estate (George Bohrer)as Mary Ann Renich, living in Cincinnati, OH in Sept. 1886 at the time of the settlement of his estate. I've checked all the townships in the Cincinnati area for various spellings of the Renich surname for Mary Ann, Mary or even just Ann unsuccessfully. You mentioned that your cousin Sue's mother's sister, Sarah Catharine "Sissy" Boyer Costello, wrote a memoir prior to her 1996 death, in which she mentioned the siblings of her grandfather, including one named Mary Ann Boyer Renisch. I know this is the Mary Ann Bohrer I have been searching for. Does your cousin have any further info she could share. It's also interesting to me that your cousin's maiden name is Reinicke. Has she traced this surname back to see if it might be connected to Mary Ann Bohrer/Boyer? 3. Do you have any additional info about the Sarah Jane Beery who m George James Bohrer? I have a Sarah Beery in my file with parents, an approximate birth date of 1846. I have no spouse or children for her. Her family lived in Lancaster, Fairfield Co., OH through the 1870 census, but Sarah isn't listed with them in 1870. I do not have a marriage for her.
