Looking for information on Joseph Young, born about 1818 in PA. He was the son son of David Young and Elizabeth unknown. He married Ellen Dean. Lived most of his life in Amanda, Fairfield, Ohio. Miller, Richmond-Arnold Pub. Co., Chicago 1912 [p96 Stoutsville Clippings] - -11 May 1913 - Joseph YOUNG, son of David and Elizabeth YOUNG, was born 3 Oct. 1864 and died 11 May 1913, aged 48y 7m 8d. He was united in marriage to Ellen DEAN 5 Sept 1886. To this union were born 8 children, Elmer, Estella, Fanny, Cora, Blanche, Orpha, Arthur and Guy. All survive their father, except Orpha, who died 10 June 1903 in the third year of her age. The departed, after marriage, still lived in the home farm where he was born until the day of this death; hence he lived in the community in which he was born all his life. Here he labored for the good and comfort of his family and the welfare of his kind friends and neighbors until affliction came on him; and it was the Master's will to call him home. His life was one of industry and usefulness in the country in which he lived, and he was a kind and loving husband and father and much devoted to his family and loved by all.
