I am researching the family of John & Hannah FORD of Violet Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. John died 24 Jul 1830, Hannah died 23 Oct 1824. They are buried in Dovel Cemetery in Pickerington. I would like to know if anyone else is researching this family. I descend from their son, Robert. I believe that Hannah's maiden name was CLOUD and would like to know if anyone is researching the family of Rev. Robert CLOUD, Methodist minister in Fairfield Co. about 1815 when Robert FORD married Margarita SMITH, Rev. CLOUD officiating. Rev. CLOUD may have also been a judge in Fairfield County. I would be very grateful for a reply from anyone interested in this family. I appreciate the work of our moderator, Carol Swinehart and especially grateful for her "Church Archives On Line" web page! The Fords were staunch Methodists and I have been unable to find the early Fairfield Co. Records. Just didn't know where to look. I visited the Drew University Library in Madison NJ which has a huge collection of Methodist history, but couldn't find what I was looking for, or anyone to assist. Many thanks, Carol. Fran Knapp
