I sent the same email to everyone in Ohio with the last name DYE. 13 were undelivered. The other 23 were good addresses and 6 have responded. 5 with +ACI-Sorry, can't help+ACI- and one possible lead. Cheaper than mailing a letter to the 86 DYE names in the Columbus phone book. And the response from Dayton would have been missed that way perhaps. This is a fun project. -----Original Message----- From: Loren Dye +ADw-lorendye+AEA-yahoo.com+AD4- To: Jayne W. Dye M. He appears to have had an interest in +AHwAfAA+- genealogy. Everything I know of this man is in a letter he wrote to Mrs. +AHwAPg- Susan Rogers Morton of Haymarket, VA on Feb 2, 1941. There is enough +AHwAPg- information to confirm beyond a doubt that he is related to my husband, also +AHwAPg- John Dye. He does not appear in our genealogy database. He mentions +AHwAPg- families by the surname of Ball, Bradfield, Carter, Hixon, Peyton, Selden, +AHwAPg- Sanford, and Wells all of whom he considers related to him. I have no data +AHwAPg- on anyone with these surnames. Therefore, uncovering the link to this man +AHwAPg- and his extended family would add a great deal of information about our +AHwAPg- extended family. +AHwAPg- +AHwAPg- Thank you in advance if you can provide any answers or if you know of a +AHwAPg- family member who is genealogy bug-bitten to whom you could relay this information +AHwAPg- Jayne +AHw-HI JAYNE, +AHw- +AHw-RECEIVED YOUR E-MAIL +AHw-I SPOKE TO MY FATHER THIS MORNING AND HE SAID THE +ACI-JOHN +AHw-DYE+ACI- THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON THE WEST +AHw-VIRGINIA TURNPIKE IN 1975 COMING HOME FROM FLORIDA.
