Hi! I am researching my Pugh ancestors who settled in Greenfield Twp. near Dumontville. Isaac (1806-1886) and Elizabeth (McFarland) Pugh (1808-1899) moved to Fairfield County around 1830 from Frederick Co., VA. They had 11 children as follows: 1. Ann (b.about 1830) Nothing more known about her. 2. William Reed (1831-1890) Married Mary Louise Mitchener. He died in Columbus. 3. Richard Bennett (1835-1857) Drowned in Walnut Creek. 4. James Robert (b. about 1836) Nothing more known of him. 5. Eliza Grantham (1838-1914) Married Henry Cruit and moved to Illinois. 6. Isaac Lemon (1839-1856) Died of typhoid. 7. Hannah (1840-1852) Died after falling on a hard floor. 8. Mary Catherine (1841-1906) 9. Daniel Kane (b. abt 1844)Nothing more known of him. 10. George Strode (b. abt 1847)Nothing more known of him. 11. Thomas Addison (b. abt 1851) Died in California. I am primarily interested in any information on any of the children that I have no further information on but, of course, will welcome any information.
