Here is a copy of the Ziegler message which was sent twice to the list, but on my system came over with a bunch of "garbage symbols" included. Are the baptismal, marriage and burial records available from this church and cemetery? I could volunteer to go there and record whatever is possible including a survey of the grave stones if that would be helpful to anyone. There are many Kaemmerers there. There is a discussion group of Kaemmerers and a surname-L which would like to have all this information available - and maybe it already is and I just don't know where to look. I believe the Fairfield County Chapter of OGS has confirmation records. The cemetery was copied several times because of the inconsistencies with the burial records and some of the transcripts. The Zeigler Cemetery is included in the Cemeteries of Pleasant Township, enumerated by the Fairfield County Chapter OGS pp. 149-167 Kammerer on p 156, 157, 160, 161, 162, (info on ordering is available at http://www.fairfieldgenealogy.org ) THe Zeigler Lutheran Church is located in Section 7 on the NW corner of Tschopp Rd. (CR 76) and Marquette Dr (TR 376). Now called Zeigler Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Pleasant Township - address 4003 Tschopp Rd NE phone 654-4475. If anyone runs across more records of this church - please let the Fairfield County Chapter of OGS know so we can may these valuable old records available.
