I am and have been trying to prove that Anna Catherine Zartman is the daughter of Peter Zartman and Catherine TRoutman, but I can find no official document to substantiate this fact. There is no doubt that this relationship is correct. Peter Zartman and Catherine Troutman came from Northumberland Co, PA to then Fairfield County Ohio just a few years before his death in 1816 in Fairfield County, OH buried in what is now Perry Co Oh in Zion Ridge Cemetery along side his wife near his daughter Anna Catherine Zartman Swinehart and her husband George and a couple of their children. The minister that baptised Anna Catherine Zartman m. George Swinehart Sr died with his church records in his saddle bags and thus, there is no record of her bp other than the Swinehart family bible which does not list her parents. Peter Zartman did not leave a will, partition etc. Nothing that lists Anna Catherine Zartman and or her husband as heirs. Is there a Peter Zartman Bible around???
