I did a search on the internet for "NATF Form 80" and found the following: A. At http://www.cas.psu.edu/docs/pde/LIBFORMS.HTML: Send in your request to the following agencies for copies of forms needed to request information on genealogical research. General Reference Branch (NNRG) National Archives and Records Administration 7th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20408 (202) 501-5400 NATF Form 80 - Order for Copies of Veterans Records, Previous to WWI Form SF180 - Order for Veterans, Records WWI to Present NATF Form 81 - Order for Copies of Ship Passenger Arrival Records NATF Form 82 - Order for Copies of Census Records B. At http://www.outfitters.com/illinois/history/civil/natf.html : The National Archives DOES NOT answer requests for specific information about a person through e-mail. All requests are done by form 80 through regular US mail, NOT the internet/e-mail. To request forms: 1. Address your mail to: inquire@arch2.nara.gov 2. put the word 'form' in the subject 3.in the text of your message, include your mailing address (NOT e-mail) the number of the form from the following list: GIL #7 (brochure for Military Service Records) Form 80 (Military service and pension records prior to World War I, including the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, and Spanish-American War); Form 81 (Passenger Arrivals) Form 82 (Copies of Census Records) Form 83 (Eastern Cherokee Applications) Form 180 (Military service records, World War I and later). the quantity you wish to receive. Requests which do not contain the word 'form' in the subject line get routed differently and will take more time to process. David C. Crane Houston, Texas
