Suzy (and anyone else with a Daniel Boon connection), If you have not checked (or heard of) the "Draper Collection" you should look into it. Draper did quite a bit of historical reasearch in KY and quite a bit on Daniel Boon (among other places/people). It is complex trying to find stuff in it (you'd have to look at a finding guide) but it might have some helpful material. I have only looked at it a couple of times (i.e. 2) and do not know it well enough to give any more comment on it than this (but perhaps someone else who is more familiar with it can).
