Suzy, The Draper Manuscripts have been microfilmed. I know that one of the family history centers in Dayton, OH has the complete set on microfilm. I think the Cincinnati Library also does. I know there are a couple of finding guids to the manuscripts that I've seen - I've always asked the librarian or found it on their computers searching on the word "Draper". I suspect that there is a decent chance that a larger library (like perhaps a University) would have them. You could probably get them from the LDS main library - but I think there are quite a few microfilm reels. I'd at least check with a local library or family history center and ask about the Draper Manuscripts. For some general information, you might want to check out: http://www.chadwyck.com/mfcat/mf010.html & http://www.webpub.com/~jhagee/draper.html Charla, I do have a Deborah White in my family, but as she is my sister I don't think she'd like me saying she was born prior to 1838. :) Actually my WHITEs are from AR and I have only managed to track them back to GA circa 1810-1820. If there is a family relation to the WHITEs in Ohio, I do not know it. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Later, - Mike
