Can anyone help me find the parents and siblings of my GGG Grandmother, Margaret McCabe, born 1805 in Fairfield County, Ohio. I believe I have narrowed her parents down to either Isaiah McCabe and Jean McCune of Hocking Township, who are mentioned on early census records, or Sosthenes McCabe and Mary Owins/Owens also of Hocking Township, Fairfield County. Margaret married John Jacob Klinker in Dec 1832 in Fairfield County, which marriage record I have managed to locate, but it doesn't indicate names of parents. John Jacob's father, Henry Klinkert, is shown as owning the 80 acres exactly adjacent to Isaiah McCabe, but I have not been able to verify Margaret as a member of Isaiah's household yet. Margaret and John Jacob moved and lived the rest of their lives in Mahaska County, Iowa. John Jacob had a 40 acre patent in Fairfield County--can anyone tell me if the original deed or application would give any helpful info, or how I might get a copy of such.
