I am searching for information on the BRANDT family. Father: Elija BRANDT born 1820 in Fairfield County, died Breman, Ohio. Wife Barbara KOEGGE born either in Ga or Pa (can't read census record) in 1825. Their children were LEWIS M BRANDT, (6-5-1853---12-16-1946) married to Arminda Jane PAGE on 2-23-1875 , Mary BRANDT (YOUNG), and Lily BRANDT. Lewis and Arminda's children all grew up in Fairfield County. IDA MAY BRANDT (B 1875 DIED 1980) (SAMUEL MCCRACKEN), ALTA ALICE BRANDT (1877-1947) (GEORGE P SHUPERT) AND CHARLES EDWARD BRANDT (1879-1972)(ELIZABETH MILLER) As they spent quite a few decades in Fairfield County, I'm surprised that I'm having so much difficulty finding any more information about them. Lewis Brandt did work for the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad in the 1880's and 1890's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Vicki L.
