A further update on the lock-in: We had 6 weeks previous to the lock-in been giving beginning classes in conjunction with the library. About 50 people attended each of the 2 hour once a week sessions. One young woman, who had just started on her genealogy, found her ancestors listed on the LDS genie system. Further investigation showed that the church records were available through LDS Family History library. She no doubt has been up to the library in Reynoldsburg already to order the film covers the years when the children of this family would have been baptisted and confirmed. Another participant at the lock-in had attended our beginning classes and was able to find in our midst a researcher searching the Rittgers family.
