Hello Fairfield: I am Barbara Brown Porter, and live in Lakeside, AZ. Moved here 3 years ago from Tucson, where I moved from Marion Co., OH in 1947 with my parents. Many of my OH ancestors are from Marion, Delaware, Hardin area. The Fairfield family I am researching is Nehemiah Benedict Waters b. 30 Aug 1780 in NJ, d 10 Oct 1859 in Green Camp, Marion, OH. He lived in Luzerne Co., PA, probably where he married Esther CARY, 20 Dec 1807. From there they moved to Delaware Co., OH abt 1810. They were there for a few years, and then moved to Greenfield, Fairfield Co., OH before 1820, where they lived about 18 years. Then moved back to GreenCamp, Marion, OH. I know nothing about his parents, suspect his mother was a Benedict. Their children were: 1. Mary Cary Waters b 11 Nov 1808 PA 2. Sarah Downing Waters b. 16 Feb 1814 3. Mercy Ann Waters b. 1818 4. Benjamin Cary Waters b. 24 Dec 1819, Fairfield Co., OH 5. John Henry Waters b. 1822 Fairfield 6. Elizabeth Waters, b 1824, Fairfield. 7. Nehemiah Benedict Waters, b. abt 1825, Fairfield, died 30 Mar 1827, Fairfield. 8. Rachel L. Waters, b. 10 May 1827 probably Fairfield 9. Lucy Ann R. Waters b. 17 Feb 1828 10. Samuel T.
