I am among the frustrated who have tried to obtain records from St. Mary parish. I have gone through the Diocese of Columbus, the Catholic Record Society and the parish office itself, but no luck. I would like to see if I can find some missing information from the years 1850-1867. Does anyone with the Fairfield County Chapter of OGS carry any clout with the folks at St. Mary's? Might they allow one of you responsible historians to examine the records? I no longer live in Lancaster and am at a point where I would be willing to pay someone for their time and trouble to check the parish records for information that I hope would be found among them.
