Need proof positive that Anna Catharine Zartman who married George Swinehart Sr is the daughter of Peter Zartman and his wife, Catharine Troutman daughter of Peter Troutman. Peter Zartman raised his family in Northumberland Co, PA and then moved to Fairfield County now Perry County, Ohio ca 1810. He died in 1816 and is buried in the Zion Ridge Cemetery in Thorn Tp, next to his wife and near to Anna Catharine Zartman Swinehart. A search of the wills, estates, partitions, obituaries, church records in Fairfield County has turned up nothing. Possibly one of you has the Zartman family Bible. Love to hear from you.
