Dear Listers, I am writing to the list in hopes that someone will know Teresa Lynn Ransom, who was raised in Lancaster, Ohio. For the last several months, I have tried to help Teresa's siblings put together the mystery of locating their sister. After a lot of letters and telephone conversations, I was finally able to recover an adoption birth record. Teresa was born Teresa Lynn Hardy on 07 Sept. 1947 in Athens, Ohio. When she was about 5 years old she was placed in foster care and a few years later, adopted by Robert Scott Ransom and Mary Fay Ihle Ransom, once of Lancaster. After locating Mr. Ransom a few weeks ago, I discovered that Teresa had been murdered by her husband (about 15-20 years ago) while living in Oregon. No one seems to remember the name of Teresa's husband, only that he was also from Lancaster, Ohio. We are now trying to find Teresa's married name and to whom she was married. We hope to find exactly when and where her murder occurred and find the site of her burial, which I am told is in Oregon. If anyone can help bring forth the answers I have yet to find then please do so and help me put this to rest for her family. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Debi Foster Catlettsburg, KY
