Gary, The Fairfield County Chapter of OGS is coming out with two new books of newspaper abstracts (1826-1884) - they were being run off yesterday. I am not sure how many years are in each book. You may want to watch their webpage for details as soon as they are produced. They contain abstracts of the Lancaster (Ohio) Gazette Newspaper - of all genealogical related information. The information is quite detailed and well organized. Abstracted by Jean Collier a volunteer who has spent hundreds of hours on this project and continues to abstract later newspapers.. Dorothy Mercy is also a member of this list and she has a book out of abstracts of the early Ohio Eagle Newspaper.
