I do not know what paper it is from. 8th Annual Emfield/Miller/Sands Family Reunion Held The 8th annual reunion of the Emfield-Sands families was held at the home of Solomon Emfield, near Basil on September 1, 1909. A delicious dinner was served by the ladies which was enjoyed by all present. After dinner a short program was rendered and the election of officers took place. The next reunion will be held at the home of Mr. Mason Bibler, near McComb, Ohio. Officers elected were as follows: President John Hanna of Deshler; Secretary William Miller of McComb; Treasurer Solomon Miller of Findlay. Kane, George Blair, Harvey Smeck, Guy Smeck, Martin Emfield, wife and children and Annie Gilmer." Would welcome sharing info on any of these families. Eventually this group started meeting in Findlay, OH, every year. For several years it was not held, but was revived by a MILLER cousin from Michigan a few years ago.
