Our brick wall is an ancestress born 1795 in "Licking Co." according to two published family sources, however I just noticed that Licking was formed 1808 from Fairfield, and am now wondering if I should be pursuing in Fairfield instead. Would some records of this family still remain in Fairfield County. Name is Brooks, Sarah was born 1795 daughter of Joshua or Josia Brooks about whom we know nothing. Sarah's husband Nathaniel Lowe III although from Maryland lived in Licking, but by that time when they married it actually was Licking, not Fairfield. Any referalls, ideas, brainstorms appreciated.
