I am trying to find out if he died shortly after their marriage or not--though I guess divorce would be a possibility too. I found a Jacob Rush in the 1820 Census for Amanda Twp. and I guess him to be the same one living in the 1860 Violet Twp. Census at age 89 (in another household).
