Nicholas m.18 Mar 1819 in VA to Mary Shobe and after her death he m. Rhoda A. and they appear on the 1850 census in Fairfield Co. Living nearby is a William Fisher 23 b. VA wife Elizabeth. I believe this William is a son of Nicholas and #1 wife Mary. William and Elizabeth moved to Pickaway Co. by 1870. The LDS shows their marriage in 1847 and her surname as Coop. But I suspect is actually Copp/Cupp. Would really appreciate any help at all sorting out these Fishers. Pamela G. Smith Gresham, OR
