Co., Oh newspapers. These newspapers reported extensively on both Amanda and Clearcreek twp's. Hi, I'm new to this and have been reading the correspondence sent to my email address with great interest. If I have sent only to an individual and not the group, please advise me. My ancestors go way back to the early 1800's into Fairfield county and other southeast Ohio counties as well. I have not been unable to find any information out on one particular line: the Vandergriffs. Hester D Vandergriff was born in Hocking County according to her daughter's birth certificate. Her father was Henry Vandergriff and her mother was Patricia Carnes. If anyone has any information on these people, it would be appreciated.
