    3. In doing my husbands Larimer genealogy we also have a brick wall on a Mary Crouse. We have thought maybe it might also be spelled Krause at some time. There marriage record shows Crouse/Cruise as it was hard to read; and family has spelled it Crouse. Mary Crouse Houston Larimer d. July 13, 1929. We understand from family history that she came to Logan, OH , Hocking Co. (just below Fairfield Co.) when she was 10y old. Have not found any other records, tombstone is newer than 1929 so must have been replaced and no birthdate. We know that her 2nd husband Wm. Larimer was from the Maxville, Perry Co. OH area also next to Fairfield Co. and that his parents were James Larimer and Emily Bowen. This being the Bowen family of Logan, OH, Hocking Co. area. Doesn't help you much, but will keep you in mind if I can find Mary's obit, or death cert. something that tells more about her.

    3. Is there a chance her last name might have been Clouse? There is more than a few of them in Hocking and Perry County.
