How much do copies cost? I am interested in records pertaining to George Carter and his wife Rosanna Smith Carter. The "History of Fairfield and Perry Counties" contains his bio which states that he and Rosanna were married in 1881, which is wrong. I'm guessing it was more like 1828, since their oldest child was born about 1832. I would really like a copy of the marriage record. THe history also says that Rosanna Smith was the daughter of John and Mary Smith, early settlers of Fairfield Co., and that John Smith was a native of Lancaster Co, PA. I know that Rosanna had a brother, Stephen Smith who was a blacksmith in Lancaster. I would love any information on the Smiths as well. Thank you in advance!
