He was not researching the Rupe name but he is researching Bowman. I only have one Bowman showing in my history of Rupe's and that was when John Sands Bowman married Sarah Rup/e sister to Lucy Rup Woodruff and dau's of Martin Rup. He might be able to help you. Brenda
