I am looking for descendents or any information about JEROME JEFFRIES and his wife LYDIA EMICK JEFFRIES. Jerome was born in Fairfield county abt. 1934 and was married there also. They had 10 children. 1. Alice Jeffries Slabaugh b. 1857 2. James Barton Jeffries b. 1859 3. Mary Jeffries Grove b. 1862 twin to William 4. William Jeffries b. 1862 5. Carrie Frances Jeffries Parrish, Hanby b. 1865 6. George Emrick Jeffries b. 1867 7. Charles Edwin Jeffries b. 1868 (my great grandfather) 8. Alvin Jeffries b. 1872 twin to Calvin 9. Calvin Jeffries b. 1872 10. Ida Jeffries Swisher b. ? James H. Jeffries (father of Jerome) came to Ohio about 1820 and married Mary Benadum in Fairfield county abt. 1833. They were parents of 13 children. One source says they were born in Canal Winchester. I have found in my research mentions of Violet twp. , Walnut twp. and Canal Winchester.
