Dorcus married first someone named Quick, possibly a son of Isaac; she m. 2nd someone named Smith; by her first husband she had: Nancy Jane Quick, b, abt 1834 Lucy Quick, b. abt 1835 John Quick, b. abt 1838 Richard Quick, b, abt 1841 Paul Quick, b. abt 1843 Taylor Quick, b. abt 1846 Dorcus and her children were on the 1850 Census in Violet Twp., District 41. Perhaps she remarried after that, I never found her again. Her children remain in the county. I descend from John, through his son, William H. Quick. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
