From my original B.C., I have but 'one' Stevens....Elizabeth Ann Stevens, age 24, born in Fairfield Co., residing in Lancaster. But after 20+ yrs. of scanning everything I know to scan, including any birth records for her name, 1930 census, Polk directories & a 'kazillion' other sources, I've had to accept the fact that the info may be incorrect. But I never quit trying! I was very lucky to find my B-father in 1994, one year before his passing....WONDERFUL!! Thanks for your inquiry, Margaret

I should have stated I found this name in an obit today. Olive was a sister of the deceased. Younger or older I don't know but sister was born in 1914 I think, so marriages in the 1920's 30's depending, probably 30's is more likely Barbara Hi all I am looking for the marriage of Olive Koontz and (?) How much do copies cost? I am interested in records pertaining to George Carter and his wife Rosanna Smith Carter. The "History of Fairfield and Perry Counties" contains his bio which states that he and Rosanna were married in 1881, which is wrong. I'm guessing it was more like 1828, since their oldest child was born about 1832. I would really like a copy of the marriage record. THe history also says that Rosanna Smith was the daughter of John and Mary Smith, early settlers of Fairfield Co., and that John Smith was a native of Lancaster Co, PA. I know that Rosanna had a brother, Stephen Smith who was a blacksmith in Lancaster. I would love any information on the Smiths as well. Thank you in advance!
