I didn't realize there were so many Keatings on Kelley's Island! But I'll bet they are all related. - to me too! This is soooo wonderful. Another question.... I'm not sure where or how to post it. If someone knows please let me know: Q: How did these folks get from Ireland to Kelley's Island??? Did they first go to New York - or possibly from Canada? John Leyden and Annie Lynch had 7 children. The last 2 were born on Kelley's Island so they came before then- which is between 1872 and 1873. For some reason there is a gap between the last 2 births, but the others came one after another pretty much. John F. (the 4th son) was born 1872 in Ireland. Then Cornelius Joseph (called Joseph) was born 1873 on Kelley's Island, and Anna (2nd daughter) was born also on Kelley's Island several years later in 1877. Should I post this question and if so where? I am trying to locate which passenger ship they came on and which port of entry. Thank you so much. Peggy
