    3. Debbie There was a prominent MILLS family in Sandusky. W. H. MILLS owned a large amount of land on Sandusky's west side. In the early 1840s he donated land, stone, timber and money to build Sandusky's first Catholic Church - Holy Angels. This is my parish and Mr. MILLS is mentioned in all accounts of the founding of Holy Angels, but I don't know much more about the MILLS. I am sure that he should have been included in all historical accounts of early Sandusky, so research on him could be quite easy. There was also a Fanny MILLS who was know world wide for her huge feet. She suffered from elaphantitis and toured the world because of her deformity. If you could find a connection to either of these people, then research on your Thomas & John MILLS might be easy. I checked the 1880 Erie County Ohio Census index and did not find either of your names. Good luck! Carol
