I thought this said it in a really wonderful way. Maggie A note on e-mail etiquette: When e-mail was new, we all had to learn a new type of etiquette. For example, we learned that USING ALL CAPS is the equivalent of SHOUTING. We also learned to run a spell checker on everything before we sent it. Then, sometimes, we found ourselves wanting to BLAST somebody whose words had rubbed us the wrong way. The best advice I ever heard on the subject, however, was this: "Always write your messages as though you were addressing a member of the clergy with whom you are not familiar." Good advice. ==== GenHumor Mailing List ==== !^NavFont02F01FF0006NGHHIG71D0 Maggie's World of Courthouse Dust & Genealogy Fever http://www.infinet.com/~dzimmerm/mindex.html *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* God Put Me On Earth to Accomplish a Certain Number of Things.
