I am a descendant of four generations of PARKERs with roots in Magaretta Twp, Erie Co OH, and am seeking to fill in some gaps in my data. The following is a brief summary of this information (I will provide addtional data and references to those interested): 1st Generation: Andrus (Andrews/Andress) PARKER: Vet. of the Revolutionary War (NY) and War of 1812. Came to Margaretta Twp in 1815 from Conneaut PA. Lived on Cold Creek worked in the milling business and lime kilns. Returned to PA about 1828 and died there. Wife unknown. Children: Elihu (sometimes listed as Elisha), George Washington, Green, Eckley/Ackley, Betsey, and Sally. 2nd Generation: Elihu PARKER: Born in Seneca (near Buffalo) NY in 1794. Died in Margaretta Twp, Erie Co OH in 1887. Vet. of the War of 1812. Four marriages: Eliza WALKER, Ellen LANGWELL, Mrs. Sarah STUBBS, and Mary Ann STUBBS. Children (from 1st marriage): Rimmon/Rheuman, Henry C., Ira, Levi, James C., Elihu Jr, Phoeba Ann, Eliza/Elizabeth Ann, Lucy, and Cynthia. 3rd Generation: Henry C. PARKER Born 21 Aug 1822 in Margaretta Twp. Married there 31 Dec 1843 to Mary TAYLOR. Died in MI in 1900. Children: Eliza E., William Henry, Augustus Newton, Luria Ann, Almond Hunt, Mary Bethiah, Washington Elihu, and Charles Edward. 4th Generation: William Henry PARKER Born 1846 in Sandusky, Erie Co OH.
