He came from Germany or Denmark, became a naturalized citizen in 1885 in Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio. He married Gertrude Theisen Hiss in 1890 & had 3 children with her, Meinard, Gertrude, & Peter. He lived in Sandusky until at least 1898, then he disappeared. ANY info would be greatly appreciated.
