Wallace I knew Patty Lay about 20 years ago when I joined the Erie Co. Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society. She was one of the Charter Members and was also heavily into DAR. Unfortunately I have not seen her in several years. The last contact that I had with her was in 1985 when she sent condolences on the death of my Sister. I checked our local phonebook and she is not listed either under her own name or under Edward Lay, her husband. I believe she had no sons, only daughters, so none of the few Lays in the book would be the family. I do know that Ed died, and it would seem that Patty may have moved out of town to be near her daughters. She is one of the most sensitive, caring, wonderful women I have ever known. Since her husband was a lawyer, I will ask around and see if I can find out anything about her whereabouts. Carol Sandusky, Erie Co., OH
