John Our city of Sandusky, Erie Co., OH was home to various tribes of Wyandots, Delawares, Erie and Ottawa Indians. Sandusky is believed to be derived from an Indian name meaning "cool, clear water." I have never heard of the Sandusky Indians. Maybe someone else on the list has some info on them. I have no knowledge of anything in Erie Co. being referred to as the Big L. Carol
